Food trucks, we’ve all seen their bright colors cruising around town… but what are they? How do we get them to pull over so we can sample a snack? Well, Dallas city ordinance has made it difficult but we finally managed to jump through hoops, bend over backwards, and agree to work together to find a way to bring the food tuck movement to Dallas. Crazy Fish, although not the first food truck to pop-up in the DFW area, is the only sushi food truck yet to hit the scene! Bringing inexpensive gourmet sushi to the person on the go, wanting high quality sushi, for an in expensive price.

Sushi is no longer an expensive food item that you need to have a sit to enjoy. Have you ever had that sushi craving while sitting at your desk at work? thinking, gosh id really love sushi for lunch, but then were bombarded with several after thoughts of, jeez I don’t really have the time to go in and sit down, then, I don’t really want to spend 20 dollars or more, only to come to the disappointing conclusion that you were going to settle on that boring sandwich from the chain restaurant.

Foods tuck? Really?

I’ve had a lot of time inside my truck to mull over why for the customer the food truck experience is so different. I have come to this conclusion: Sharing the dining experience from customer to owner. Isn’t food that’s made with love so much better to eat? Grandma’s cookies, the little Mom and Pop run restaurant down the street from your house? Food that is made with passion and personal experience stays with you, satisfies you more soulfully, it’s just gives you a better feeling all round.

The small business owner who truly cares about the experience the customer has. It’s almost like having a chat with the head chef at a restaurant; the customer is behind the scenes because the scenes are out the front. Isn’t it great to have personal contact with the people that make your food?

So why else do food trucks appeal? Personality! Each truck has a different vision and tells a story of the person inside. Come meet your favorite truckie today!
